    Fred Macri Fred Macri has more than thirty five years of progressive health care management leadership experience, primarily in academic medical centers of more than 600 beds and within integrated delivery systems.

    Macri came to Lifespan in 1999, becoming senior vice president of shared services and facility development. In 2002, he was also appointed executive vice president of Rhode Island Hospital.

    Prior to joining Lifespan, Macri spent 14 years in New York City, initially with New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center as the vice president of support services. After New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center merged with Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in 1997, Macri served as the vice president of support services for both academic campuses.

    Macri also worked for the consulting division of the Hospital Association of New York State for 12 years, where he led their division of operational consulting.

    Macri is a graduate of Albany College of Pharmacy-Union University and a registered pharmacist in New York. He received a master's degree in public administration from Russell Sage College in 1981.
