Rhode
Island Hospital is the principal teaching hospital of The Warren Alpert
Medical School of Brown University—the only medical school in Rhode
Island. We are the largest training site in the state.
Lifespan hospitals, Rhode Island Hospital and its Hasbro Children's Hospital, The Miriam Hospital and Bradley Hospital, provide the major sites for clinical training of approximately 175 third- and fourth-year students at Brown University.
Lifespan’s graduate medical education department plays an important role in attracting, developing and retaining medical talent in the state.
In addition, as a result of Lifespan's relationship with the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, exciting research projects are underway that are improving patient care.
