Lynne Benavides, OTR/L, CHT
Lynne Benavides, OTR/L, CHT graduated from Quinnipiac College in 1990 with a BS in occupational therapy. She received her hand therapy certification in 2002 and has been treating patients with hand and upper extremity injuries since 1990. Benavides has worked in acute care, skilled nursing and has also taught kinesiology at the community college level. She has lectured on cumulative trauma and acute occupational therapy treatment in the area of burns. She has been with Rhode Island Hospital’s rehabilitation medicine department since 1990.
Jill Levine, OTR/L, CHT, graduated from Boston University in 1987 with a BS in occupational therapy. She received her hand therapy certification in 1998 but has been treating patients with hand and upper extremity injuries since 1989. Levine has worked in a variety of settings including both inpatient and outpatient in acute care hospitals, home care, skilled nursing, inpatient rehabilitation and private practice. Levine was the co-owner of a PT/OT practice from 1993 until 2004. She worked for Rhode Island Hospital from 1991 to 1997 and then returned in 2004. She has lectured on the areas of kinesiotape, as well as shoulder rehabilitation. She most recently began treating people with lymphedema as part of the lymphedema management team.
Lois McCoy OTR/L, CHT graduated from Worcester State College in 1996 with a BS in occupational therapy. She received her hand therapy certification in 2002, but has been treating clients with hand and upper extremity injuries since 1999. McCoy also has worked in acute care and inpatient acute and sub-acute rehabilitation. She has extensive experience in rehabilitation of burn injuries, and has lectured on the topic. She has been with Rhode Island Hospital’s rehabilitation team since 1997.
