Sports Rehabilitation

At Rhode Island Hospital and its Hasbro Children’s Hospital, our Sports Rehabilitation Center offers athletes the latest in performance training and injury prevention.

Our services are provided by highly trained specialists who are committed to helping their patients achieve their optimal level of performance.

We are accredited by the Joint Commission and we are a certified clinical site for the Sportsmetrics injury prevention program. We are affiliated with Northeast Orthotics and Prosthetics, a company situated on our campus and accredited by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics.

At the Sports Rehabilitation Center, we accept most health insurance plans and offer evening appointments. On site interpreters are available to our patients.

A physician’s referral is required for all programs (except for the Peak Performance Program); to make an appointment, please call our scheduling coordinator at 401-444-7778. Referring physicians are kept informed of their patients’ progress via telephone, e-mail and fax. Physicians are welcome to contact a therapist at any time.
