Our electrophysiology labs offer procedures to study the electrical activity of your heart to determine if you have an arrhythmia, what the cause might be, and how it can best be treated.
In a healthy heart, electricity flows in a regular pattern, causing the heart muscle to contract; sometimes, however the pattern is disrupted, causing a heart arrhythmia. Our goal is to cure the problem, not simply treat the symptoms. We are one of the busiest electrophysiology labs in southeastern New England, performing about 2,000 procedures each year.
