Edmond Sabo, MD is a research associate at Rhode Island Hospital in the department of pathology as well as an assistant professor of pathology at Brown Medical School. He came to Rhode Island in 2004 from Israel where he worked as director of the surgical pathology unit at Carmel Medical Center in Haifa. Sabo received his medical. degree from University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iasi, Romania and completed his residency in pathology in Israel. His research subspecialty includes analysis of microscopical patterns in tumor tissues using chaos and fractal theories, computerized morphometry, biostatistics and artificial intelligence.
