Patricia Meitner, PhD
Senior Research Assistant – Molecular Biology

Patricia Meitner, PhD is the molecular pathology core supervisor for the COBRE Center for Cancer Research Development, as well as senior research assistant
at the Rhode Island Hospital department of pathology. She came to the department in 2003, transferring from the department of orthopaedic research where she worked as a research associate since 1998. Prior to that she worked as both clinical laboratory director and senior scientist at Analytical Biosystems Corporation in Warwick, Rhode Island. Meitner received her doctorate degree from the University of Birmingham, England.
