Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program
Tuition and Expenses
The total tuition for the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program is $4000.00. This tuition does not include the cost of textbooks nor uniforms.
Textbook payment is paid directly to the book distributor, of choice. The approximate cost for textbooks is $800. A mandatory list will be distributed before the program start date.
The MRI Program has a dress code that can be referenced in the Clinical section of the Student Handbook, order sheets are distributed prior to start as well.
The charges below are required of all students and are payable in full no later than the designated times. Students whose tuition is not paid to date will not be allowed to continue in the program. No exceptions will be made, return into the program is allowed when:
- Students balance is up to date
- All missed didactic and clinical requirements are met for any time missed
The Diagnostic school will only be accepting payment in the form of credit card to RIH Main Casher or Money Orders made out to: School of Diagnostic Imaging – MRI
School of Diagnostic Imaging does not participate in Title IV (Financial Aid) programs. The Diagnostic School is approved for all Veterans Affairs Benefits.

There are no refunds for the School of Diagnostic Imaging – Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
In the event of non-payment of debts owed to Rhode Island Hospital or the School of Diagnostic Imaging, any of the following actions may be taken:
- Deny student permission for enrollment in course/courses
- Deny student admission into the program
- Suspend student from participating in the program
- Withhold grades and/or official transcripts
- Withhold certificate to which the student would be entitled
