Programs
The Rhode Island Hospital School of Diagnostic Imaging Radiologic Technology Program now offers a day and a part-time/evening program.
General School Information
The day program operates Monday through Friday, for 24 continuous months with varying beginning and ending times. The evening program operates Monday through Thursday evenings for 30 months with varying beginning and ending times. The final semester for evening/part time students is a full-time day semester: Monday through Friday with varying beginning and ending times. All students will be required to attend off-site clinical rotations at various Rhode Island Medical Imaging offices during their education.

Student Services
Counseling:
Counseling is held each semester at mid-semester for all students. Topics discussed include tardy, absences, tuition payments, grades, clinic performance, and student and faculty comments. Failing mid-semester grade reports are signed if necessary. A signed copy of the counseling discussion is placed in the counseling notebook.
Tutoring: Tutoring is available on an as-needed basis to all students upon request. It is the student's responsibility to request tutoring as well as complete any recommended follow up. Tutoring is scheduled according to instructor availability.
Transfer Credit
The program does not accept transfer credit for any previous didactic or clinical coursework.
Vacations & Holidays
Students are granted eight weeks of vacation during the two-year program. Two weeks of vacation are granted during the holiday/New Year season. Additional vacation weeks occur in April and August.
