Chapels and Services

There are two chapels within the hospital available at all times to give patients and families a place for quiet and reflection. The Chapel of Hope is near the lobby of the main building of Rhode Island Hospital. The Hasbro Children's Hospital Chapel is near the upper lobby of Hasbro Children's Hospital.

Religious services offered in the hospital are:

• Sunday and Holy Days: Mass in the Hasbro Chapel at noon.
  
  
• Wednesday: Ecumenical Christian prayer service in the Chapel of Hope
  from 12:05 to 12:15 p.m.
  
  
• Friday: Muslim prayer service in the Chapel of Hope from 1 to 1:45 p.m.

Everyone is always welcome in the chapels during the various services. One chapel is always available for quiet prayer/meditation.

Chaplains can be reached Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 401-444-4746 or by calling the call center at 401-444-5108. Catholic priests are available for emergency calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by calling the Call Center.

Catholic services and multi-faith services are available, as well as a listing of suggested multi-faith prayers.
