Conference Schedule

The Brown University Medical School Division of Minimally Invasive Surgery provides an annual two-day conference in controversies in minimally invasive surgery.

The goals of the conference are to:

provide various points of view regarding controversial issues in minimally invasive surgery
introduce new techniques and emerging technologies in minimally invasive surgery
provide information that is useful in everyday practice to surgeons in practice.

A large period of time is devoted to discussion periods where these issues are explored further.
