Minimally Invasive Surgery Training Program

Conference Schedule

The Brown University Medical School Division of Minimally Invasive Surgery provides an annual two-day conference in controversies in minimally invasive surgery.

The goals of the conference are to:

  • provide various points of view regarding controversial issues in minimally invasive surgery

  • introduce new techniques and emerging technologies in minimally invasive surgery

  • provide information that is useful in everyday practice to surgeons in practice.

A large period of time is devoted to discussion periods where these issues are explored further.
