Medical Staff

Rhode Island Hospital is the largest of Rhode Island's general acute care hospitals, and provides comprehensive health services, including pediatrics at its Hasbro Children's Hospital. Rhode Island Hospital also serves as the region's only Level 1 trauma center.

The Medical Staff Services office is a shared service that performs joint medical staff and credentialing functions for Lifespan affiliates, including Rhode Island Hospital.

Included in the credentialing functions are the processing of initial applications, re-applications, requests for staff status changes and additional requests for privileges.
