The Computed Tomography Program is offered through the Rhode Island
Hospital School of Diagnostic Imaging and Rhode Island College.
The Computed Tomography Program, in collaboration with Rhode
Island College, offers a bachelor of science in medical imaging with
a computed tomography concentration or a certificate of undergraduate
study (CUS) in computed tomography.
The Computed Tomography Program is a 6-month, full-time, day program
designed to offer both clinical and didactic education in the art and
science of computed tomography.
Students who successfully complete the program will have met the
requirements needed to be eligible to take the CT Registry exam provided
by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and will be
eligible for immediate placement as competent entry-level CT
A certificate in Computed Tomography is awarded upon successful
completion of the program.
