Beginning January 2015, our Magnetic Resonance Imaging program will be a BS degree program through Rhode Island College. Please contact Rhode Island College for more information. Application deadline is August 1.

Clinical sites utilized for this program include: Rhode Island Hospital, Hasbro Children's Hospital, The Miriam Hospital, Newport Hospital and Rhode Island Medical Imaging centers. In these settings, students will be working closely with physicians, radiologists, technologists and other healthcare team members. Students will have hands-on experience with cutting edge equipment in order to learn how to perform both advanced and routine MRI procedures.

Students who successfully complete the program will have met the clinical requirements needed to be eligible to take the MRI Registry exam provided by  ARRT and will be eligible for immediate placement as competent MRI technologists.
