    The Anne C. Pappas Center for Breast Imaging at Rhode Island Hospital as well as Newport Hospital have earned the designation as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence from the American College of Radiology (ACR). The ACR designation requires accreditation in all areas of breast imaging, including mammography, ultrasound, MRI and breast biopsy, and reflects our commitment to providing the highest levels of care and our dedication to improving women’s health. In addition to achieving state-of-the art clinical care, our radiologists are nationally recognized leaders in breast imaging through their work in research and education.
